one look at this quite fabulous fireplace mantel and i was immediately drawn in. it’s the decidedly drool-worthy design work of architecture and design studio Stewart-Schafer featured recently on dwell — a before and after renovation i think you’ll find most inspiring. the exposed brickwork, high ceilings and ornate crown molding are all beautiful, but back to that mantel — it’s styled so deliciously, well-balanced and enviable to be sure. it’s got great personal style — eclectic artwork, the sculptures i recently posted about that i’ve been seeing everywhere, and vintage collectibles all pairing beautifully together. that light fixture and mirror speak volumes, too. for the entire renovation, visit dwell.
