Grow Below is a concept brand that utilises abandoned London Underground tunnels for farming urban greens.

There are 80 miles of disused tunnels that can be used for agricultural space. Greens are grown hydroponically and in a controlled environment, using 70% less water than traditional farming. Utilising this neglected space will benefit the city by reducing transport emissions. Our mission is to reduce London’s carbon emissions with our ‘zero carbon food’ by delivering to the customers by bike – from our farm to your kitchen within 2 hours of being picked and packed, freshness guaranteed. The outer packaging is made from recycled cardboard and materials from local areas to help save waste.

What’s Unique?
The packaging will be instantly recognizable by people all over, using the infamous London Transport logo design and Edward Johnston’s specific London typeface, to tell the story of where the greens have come from. The two arches will act as a window to allow customers to see the product from the outside of the box packaging – also recreating the brand logo of the urban greens growing out of the framework.
