New offices for Lombard Conrad Architects, a 50 year old architecture and interior design firm based in Boise, Idaho. This was a complete remodel of a quarter of an iconic 1970s building downtown. Design features include a variety of breakout and collaboration spaces, new operable windows and ceiling fans to improve air circulation and ample workspaces with ergonomic desking. The main conference room is enclosed by a full glass operable wall that, when open, creates a flexible space for hosting events or large meetings (someday). As a firm that specializes in designing for government and not-for-profit clients, all the finish materials selected are durable, mid-priced solutions that would be appropriate and affordable for those clients.
