Founded by surfer and painter Jim Ganzer in 1984, Jimmy’z became the surfer’s mecca during the late eighties thanks to its idyllic Malibu Beach setting, and was often clad with famous musicians, artists and skaters alike.

After a hiatus in the late nineties, Jimmy’z the brand – which when it came to apparel became renowned mostly for its colorful range of everyday apparel – relaunched back in late 2011 and continues to produce pieces for its mainline collection to this day.
