Life of Jolie is a series of funny comics started by 21-year-old Norwegian artist Johanne Lid. In her comics, the artist pokes fun at various everyday situations, and I’m pretty sure most of our readers will  be able to relate to them.

In a recent interview with Bored Panda,  Johanne said she started creating the comics back in March when the quarantine started. “I suddenly had a lot of time so I got myself an iPad and an Apple pencil and started drawing this character named Jolie that is very much inspired by my own life!” said the artist. “I haven’t drawn that much comic-style drawing before, so I have to say that my first comics are really bad (but I have progressed a lot since then and now it’s just fun to look back at my earlier work).”

Johanne said she wants to make people feels less alone, something that’s especially important nowadays. “Jolie is a girl with a lot of imperfections, but that is also what makes us human!” said the artist. Check out some of her comics in the gallery below!
