Channelate is an online comic started by artist Ryan Hudson all the way back in 2008. The comics are known for their dark humor and unexpected twists, and if that’s your thing, then you’ve come to the right place.

In a recent interview with Bored Panda, Ryan said he wanted to be a newspaper cartoonist since he was a kid, but to him it always seem like an unattainable goal. “When I discovered webcomics, and found that anyone could start one, I decided to give it a go and never looked back,” said the artist.

We’ve featured some of Ryan’s comics before, and now he’s back with even more – check them out in the gallery below!

He describes his creative process as a “one-person improv game” that he plays. “I take a single word prompt and fill three squares as fast as I can,” explained Ryan. “Doesn’t matter if the joke is good. I just need to finish it. Do that enough times and you run into a joke!”
