After coming together for the first time in 2016 to curate an art installation for the Pheonix Unit – a rehabilitation facility for patients diagnosed with Schizophrenia, in hopes of transforming the space – friends Niamh White and Tim A. For the project, each artist spent time with patients in their units and led creative sessions with different groups to help inform their works. Each artist took note and listened to patients’ experiences and drew on the talent set inside of the hospital walls. The diverse range of artists aimed to create artworks that bring a new sense of imagination, perspectives and elements of the outside world onto the walls of the hospital.
