
Fans of minimalism please look away now, things are about to get very bold, colorful, and borderline psychedelic here. That’s because we’re going to talk about prints, and not the classic tartan or floral patterns that dominate your grandparent’s wardrobes.
Bonsai’s selection for the SS23 season has arrived at the


Founded in 2014, the Italian label has become a master at upgrading wardrobes with some seriously bold shades. In the past, it has added pastel dyes to a two-piece suit or turned pictures of plants into prints — but its latest drop, called “The Playroom,” doubles down on color.
Split into four color families titled acid green, azure, ivory, and orange, they come together to deploy a child-like fascination with bright hues fitting with the collection theme.

This is made most apparent in its selection of “spray-dyed” pieces which arrive in either green or blue and have contrasting splotches of color added all over in a way that almost mirrors the patterns found on a heat map.
Meanwhile, equally colorful
Spring officially starts later this month, meaning that the prime time for big and bold prints is coming up and it doesn’t get much brighter than the latest from Bonsai.
