The Japanese label debuted its Fall/Winter 2023 womenswear collection at Paris Fashion, where dramatic bulbous gowns and hairstyles made of ripper paper and pipe cleaners mingled on the runway.

Amongst the parade of over-the-top displays (classic CdG), COMME des GARÇONS also teased what looks like another linkup with Salomon.
In between rather-calm heels, I noticed flashes of Salomon branding stamped on that familiar platform silhouette, as showcased on the partnership’s .
The thick-soled Salomon shoe surfaced again in its tonal black and white iterations. However, unlike revealed in previous seasons, the latest bears no laces.

Per a zoom-in, the Salomon shoe incorporates a sort of ribbed knit material on the upper, possibly for a more secure fit (given the previous bungee and traditional lace systems are gone).
Side views of the supposed CdG x Salomon shoe also reveal a pull tab on the heel, reiterating the model’s new slip-on attitude.
It’s unknown if these are another official collab (we’re still hoping for the ) or if these Salomons will even see the light of day.
