is a creative studio founded by Dong-il Lee, based in Seoul, South Korea, and focuses on creating personal works that explore various design and artistic expressions. Dong-il Lee has a background in interior design focusing on furniture, lighting, and functional objects. Utilising unprocessed raw materials is the main characteristic of his works, which aim to embrace material imperfections, resulting in deeply conceptual pieces that, according to the designer, are “somewhat insufficient for practical application.”
One example of this is the brutalist LWA0 audio system that comprises stacked speakers and amplifier. Visually compelling, and blurring the line between furniture design and art installation, the experimental system is made in stainless steel.
