A male chef stands in a kitchen speaking to a female chef who looks upset.

Between The Menu and Boiling Point, chefs have had a hard time of it recently in movies. And it’s doesn’t look like it’ll be getting better anytime soon.

The latest grim portrait of the profession comes via the trailer for Kongdej Jaturanrasmee and Sitisiri Mongkolsiri’s Hunger, a story about a young chef (Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying) who gets a job at an exclusive restaurant working under the unpleasant Chef Paul (Nopachai Jayanama).

Expect shouting, exquisite food, and plenty of class and fine dining satire.

Hunger is streaming on Netflix from April 8.
