There are headphones, and then there are Bose headphones. The brand’s newest set, the , just might be the best one yet. But at an over $300 price tag, they don’t come cheap, which is why we’re so glad they’re currently .
For the uninitiated, the are the brand’s newest model, replacing the QC35 II, and they come with a slew of new and upgraded features. The most impressive is the quick-charge feature, which gives you three hours of battery life after just 15 minutes of charging. The new app is even more personalized, allowing you to switch up your preferred bass, mid-range, or treble levels for the perfect sound. The battery life is even more impressive, boasting 24 hours even if you keep active noise-canceling on the whole time.
The noise-canceling features are one of the best we’ve ever seen. When you switch on the Quiet Mode, tiny microphones inside the ear cups constantly measure outside noise and cancel it out with opposite signals. You can also switch on Aware Mode so that those same microphones pick up outside noise to keep you aware of your surroundings. So, you get both an immersive listening experience when you need it, as well as the ability to turn it off when you’re on a busy street. Other features include a USB-C input and updated ear cup padding for more comfort.
