Finding the perfect hat is not always easy to do, so you want to take great care of your collection. Whether you have five hats or 50, hat organization is important. By organizing your hats, you make them easier to locate, and you keep them in better condition. What are some ways to organize your at home?
1. A Display Shelf
You’ve spent years building an amazing hat collection, and you want to proudly show off your hats. A hat display shelf can be placed on a dresser, bookshelf, or another area where space is available. Consider displaying your hats in your man cave or your bedroom. Hats are generally stored with the bill facing downward to optimize space. There are also wall-mounted hat racks that allow you to show off your collection in a vertical format.
2. Behind the Door
Closet space is often in short supply, which is one of the challenges of organizing a hat collection. If space is limited in your closet, consider taking advantage of the vertical space behind the closet door. Several hat organizers are available that mount over the top of the door. Some organizers have space for more than a dozen hats, so this is a smart option to store and organize a larger hat collection.
