minimalist, but absolutely breathtaking, that’s what this paris apartment in le Marais, my favorite neighborhood, featured in vogue has got going on. i mean, who needs a lot of excess when you’ve got these gorgeous parquet floors, epic empire-high ceilings, and enviable crown moldings? with all that going for you, you’d really just like the space to speak for itself, and that’s exactly how this creative parisian couple has carefully, but casually curated their 19th-century apartment. owners and interior designers Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay of festen architecture have created a space i would definitely like to be invited to — just to hang out on those stacked vintage leather gym mats they discovered from an old school (another, they brilliantly repurposed into that smashing headboard!). their lighting and vintage classic seating choices are pretty amazing, too. for more inspiration visit their website, and for the full home tour, visit vogue.
