i rarely do diy projects — i’ve just never had the patience, but it’s something i’m trying to get better at. i’ve recently bought a sewing machine and am also looking at online sewing lessons because it’s a skill i’d love to have for loads of around-the-house projects. but this weekend i created a very easy little diy cabinet curtain, and it turns out i can diy a wee bit. i’ve had this rather awkward bar/countertop in my kitchen, which i had barstools under, but no one ever sat there, and i certainly never ate there. so i had a plan for what might work here instead and i got to work.
