we don’t know about you but we find this shop’s name quite fitting because has us wanting to do just that! located in portland, this charming shop showcasing the mountain landscape of artist adorning on its walls carries mostly self-care goods, as well as, home goods by small designers and makers from across the US.
the shop’s owner, kara green, worked as a fashion designer for over a decade in new york city but always dreamed of opening her own boutique. when her husband’s new job with nike brought them to portland, kara felt like it was the perfect place to realize her dream. and after noticing a self-care trend taking over in places like NY, LA, SF, and in her own life as a mother of two, kara wanted field trip to offer the products that she herself had come to depend on. some of her favorites are by Sun Potion, by Moon Juice, and by Living Libations.
another cool aspect of is their community space where they regularly host workshops. some recent standouts include a weaving class with brooklyn based artist , an inspirational talk about Manifestation with Lacy Phillips of , a women empowering talk with of Unique Markets, and an adaptogens class with to teach the community more about the superfoods carried in the shop. They’ve also done pop up shopping events with brands like and . to keep up to date with follow along with them on .
