AB180 is an AI tech company developing data-driven marketing solutions, and its name carries a philosophy within it. The straightest path from A to B — a 180-degree line, and the fastest route between two points. Translating this concept directly into physical space was the starting point of this project.

Spanning floors 19 and 20 at Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, the office covers a total of 1,418㎡ across two levels and is built around a single design language: CONNECTOR. Four elements run through the entire space — linear structure, simplified color layering, monochromatic contrast, and soft curves at points of human contact — translating the brand’s identity into an architectural vocabulary.

The 20th floor is the floor of branding and communication. The circulation path from the elevator hall through the lounge, seminar room, and meeting zone is conceived as a sequence through which visitors experience AB180’s identity. The branding wall defines the first impression of the space while naturally dividing the work area from the shared zones. The lounge accommodates 40 to 60 people in everyday use, and when opened up with the seminar room, converts into an all-hands meeting space for up to 150. Large Barrisol ceiling panels anchor the visual weight of the room and deliver even, diffused light throughout.

The 19th floor is the floor of focus and immersion. The 118-seat workspace is organized around a two-way circulation loop, enabling fast and fluid movement between tasks. Meeting rooms, focus zones, and quick meeting zones are positioned at the center of the floor, so that support facilities remain within short and intuitive reach from any workstation. The architectural volume at the core — a meeting zone mass that reads as a freestanding structure — consolidates conference rooms and the support hub into a single body, lending the floor a sense of precision and weight.

The language of the straight line runs consistently across the entire space — through lighting, carpet patterns, wall layering, and signage systems. Color is restrained. AB180’s brand palette is pulled down to muted tones and used only as accents, while warm gray and concrete tones fill the rest. The result is a space that never feels monotonous, yet never oversteps.
