happy thanksgiving weekend. i’m celebrating with my brother’s family, and i’m in charge of my famous mashed potatoes, and am currently on the hunt for a green vegetable recipe that will knock their socks off. got one for me? please do send it my way. i’m pretty ‘out there’ with some of this week’s finds — i seem to be getting more and more eccentric in my old age and embracing all that is a little less cookie-cutter and much more unexpected. i hope you’re still with me. i also got a new piece of art this week that i’m very excited by — have a look. have a great long weekend, everyone and see you back here next week. xo, v.

this isn’t one of the more quirkier finds i referenced above and is instead a lovely apartment in paris that just happens to be for rent. shared by the new darlings the entire apartment is every inch very parisian indeed and quite beautiful, but my favorite corner is this charming vintage cabinet and display of artwork and collectibles. très chic and just my style. for the full tour visit the new darlings.

now this is a rare treat! i love a sneak peek into an art studio and this just happens to be a tour of one of my favorite artists — oliver jeffers. styled by @naomidemanana, photographed by @bellemorizio and featured in domino, “mildly organized chaos” is how artist @oliverjeffers describes his charming brooklyn studio. i’m inspired by every bit of it — and his list of go-to art supplies were immediately bookmarked for future reference. you might also like to download his website’s free craft and activity projects. for the full tour of this fabulous studio, visit domino.

please consider becoming a paid subscriber to keep reading the rest of this week’s finds.
