i’m the sort of person (as you know if you’ve been reading a while!) that likes to change things up around the house. i get a little antsy for a new look now and then, so when gallery system invited me to partner with them and test drive one of their easily adjustable art hanging systems, i was definitely up for it. especially since they also asked me to give one lucky reader a $500 credit to build a system of their own simply by following gallery system on pinterest!

like many of you, i’m sure, i’ve had some artwork laying around for way too long that was in need of framing. i’ve had this piece called the reader by photographer joyce lee ever since my san francisco days, and two new poster prints from fine little day that i’d been dying to hang with it as a curated collection above my sofa. the sleek galleryone system was just what i needed to display all three pieces and give my living room a whole new look!

each gallery system has three basic components, a discreet wall-mounted track, simple hangers that slide horizontally, and compact, robust hooks that adjust vertically. my ceilings are quite high, so for my own safety i had my handyman handle the initial installation but now that my track is mounted, i’m able to change the layout on my own with ease. if you happen to be one of those lucky people who lives in a space already equipped with a picture-rail or molding, gallery system offers convenient picture rail systems, too. and if you’re going for a professional art gallery look, their original gallery system offers the highest hanging capacity and one of the few fully integrated lighting systems on the market. for a simple, gallery-quality alternative though, i’d go with their galleryone system. it’s perfect for home owners and renters alike, giving you the ability to change things up whenever you want without having to put multiple holes in your walls. i just love the way it seamlessly blends into my home. let me know what you think of my new set-up and don’t forget to enter to win a $500 credit to build a gallery system of your own by following them on pinterest!
