
like many of the lush, overgrown rustic canyons here, benedict canyon is one of the prettiest of L.A.’s (almost) secret hideaways, tucked away above the sunset strip. so it’s not surprising Director Hallie Meyers-Shyer has made it her new home. featured recently on her’s a 1954 mid-century Spanish-style hacienda house that fits right into canyon life. it’s modern with smooth adobe white walls, but those beautiful hardwood floors and exposed wood ceilings give it a warm, cozier feel. it’s also furnished with lots of vintage and rattan — my personal favorites du jour. for the full home tour, visit a . oh, and hallie just directed the film where she also had a big influence on the set direction of reese witherspoon’s home in the movie. have , i think you’ll see some similarities to her own home!
