i’ve always had a crush on these kinds of floating, wall-mounted shelves with glass doors, especially if it’s been DIY’d from a truly repurposed vintage piece — like a longtime favorite of mine just below — that ornate kitchen cabinet is just over the top cool. i love glass cabinets in general but when you find a vintage china or display cabinet of some kind and separate it from its base, perhaps give it a coat of paint (especially the inside shelves and back panel) and then hang it on the wall as a floating display unit, i just find it smashing. i look for these from time to time on
