this week freunde von freunden has an amazing home tour and interview featuring barcelona fashion and handbag designer, Carolina L. Iriarte. i can hardly contain my envy for her fantastic checkerboard floors — are those just not amazing? with everything in her home kept very minimal, but no less interesting the floors become the showstopper — they make me want to tap dance! i’m also in love with the idea of what appears to be the top piece of a china cabinet, used as a display piece on the floor.
