so many of us have been blessed (or is that cursed?) with just a single bathroom sink. I’ve walked that walk in my old house, and i had a teeny tiny bathroom with a lone sink standing there just waiting for a bit of love. single sinks can be a tad impractical, some without storage of any kind below, and they can often look a little dull. but with a little styling and ingenuity, you can make your single sink go a long way. something as simple as adding a pretty above looks lovely. or perhaps add a little ledge for your favorite bath and beauty products, , a favorite , or piece of a piece of art — like cute comb and bobby pin prints, or hang a .

maybe you stitch up a pretty skirt for the base of the sink to hide all that unsightly plumbing. creating wainscoting and painting the wall behind the sink is a great dramatic look too. add shiplap or a tiled backsplash and you’ve stepped it up another level. i always love a vintage-inspired shaving mirror and has a good one under $10 dollars, or check for a vintage version! also, if you can swap out your faucets for some pretty brass ones, that always gives an upgrade to a lonely little sink. put out a , your favorite in a pretty , and all of it adds some stylish personality to that single sink!
