gosh, i had fun putting this very colorful post together! we’re embracing a new trend i’ve been seeing around lately and it’s what you might call ‘maximalism’ and in this case, we’re celebrating that theme when it pertains to the whimsical tablescape. i love this quirky look and have been mixing and matching my dishes, serving pieces, and glassware for a while now, but i’ve never gone quite this wild. perhaps since spring is officially here it’s time to start scouring our favorite flea markets, and online shops that specialize in this very eclectic, European vibe. whenever i’ve been invited to a french home for dinner, for instance, there is always an effortless cornucopia of colorful dishware and nothing is off-limits — the more mismatched the better! table linens, too — i have some beautiful mismatched silk-screened table napkins from that i love setting my table with. and i’m absolutely smitten with the incredible Hand-Embroidered and very whimsical Table Linens from , based in Marseille but happily available online. and ceramics by , a Marrakesh-based lifestyle brand focusing on interior decoration and accessories have my heart, too. other favorite sources for tableware are for found vintage ceramics, table linens, and serving pieces with a ton of style, here in laguna for the very best curation of lovely glassware and dishware. and for truly over the top serving pieces you have to check out and , and for colorful table linens, and have lovely collections. i’ve gathered some looks i’m in love with and could have kept going, but i’ve created a for you to refer to instead, otherwise, this post would take up a ridiculous amount of space. have fun and bon appetit!
