one of the reasons i painted the exterior of is because i really love the way greenery takes a shine when contrasted with black. everything just pops and looks that much greener. it’s the same, i think, for black steel-framed windows and doors. i really, really want to put these kinds of floor to ceiling in my kitchen and bedroom out to my garden and i think you can see why — they just frame a garden so beautifully. i think they’re on the more expensive side of the spectrum, so i may have to settle for a more , but painted black i think i’ll almost get the look.
