Тhe new BrandIQ office in Sofia transforms 500 square meters into a workplace that balances functionality, collaboration, and employee well-being. Delivered over a six-month period, the project encompassed workplace strategy, interior architecture, detailed design, and project management through completion.
The primary objective was to create an efficient and welcoming environment that supports both focused work and team interaction. The design embraces simplicity and clarity, relying on carefully selected materials, natural light, and subtle detailing to establish a timeless workplace identity.
The layout was organized to maximize access to natural light, positioning workstations, meeting rooms, and collaborative areas to benefit from the connection between the interior and the surrounding urban landscape.
A restrained material palette of natural oak, soft neutral tones, textured fabrics, and muted blue accents creates a calm and professional atmosphere. Vertical timber slats are used throughout the space to introduce rhythm, warmth, and acoustic comfort, while integrated planting elements bring a biophilic layer that enhances the overall employee experience.
Meeting spaces were designed as natural extensions of the workplace rather than isolated rooms. Comfortable furnishings, warm finishes, and expansive views create versatile environments suitable for formal discussions, presentations, and creative collaboration. Technology is seamlessly integrated, ensuring functionality without compromising the visual simplicity of the design.
The open-plan workspace balances transparency and privacy through the strategic placement of storage elements, acoustic screens, and planters. These features define individual work neighborhoods while preserving visual openness and encouraging interaction between teams.
The kitchen area serves as the heart of the office. Residential-inspired materials, custom joinery, and integrated lighting create an inviting setting for informal meetings, breaks, and everyday social interaction. Soft blue cabinetry introduces a distinctive visual identity while complementing the natural material palette used throughout the project.
Flexibility and longevity were key considerations during the design process. Durable materials, adaptable layouts, and efficient space planning ensure that the workplace can evolve alongside BrandIQ’s future growth while continuing to support changing ways of working.
The completed office demonstrates how thoughtful workplace design can create an environment that is both highly functional and visually refined, delivering a comfortable and inspiring experience for employees while reflecting BrandIQ’s culture and ambitions.
