quick — what’s on your coffee table right this minute? is it perhaps cluttered with old magazines, unopened mail, and empty coffee cups? or is it orderly and pretty? i can’t function well if my ‘stuff’ isn’t organized — everything in its place. i know, i’m slightly OCD and i do live alone, so there’s really no excuse for me to not keep everything ‘just so’. but it’s easier than you might think to keep your coffee table looking uncluttered. grab a unique looking , or , and toss your matches, incense, and candles inside. boom! you’re on your way to looking better already. i have a shallow vintage (like just above) on my coffee table and i use it as a catch-all for lots of odds and ends. next up, neatly stack those magazines, add your favorite books and you’ve instantly got some order to coffee table chaos. add a succulent, or a small vase of your favorite flowers and you’re pretty much good to go. here’s what i’m talking about.
