i thought for this week’s , we could do with a little bit of whimsy — in other words, not just one color, but a virtual cornucopia of them! i’m feeling cheerful and why not spread the vibe throughout the house? you can add a lot of colorful impact in some really simple, easy and affordable ways — with the addition of some fun artwork (create a whole new gallery on an unexpected wall, like a stairwell), organizing your book spines by color, the layering of some colorful textiles, or even by boldly painting an old piece of furniture. you might even hang some pretty pieces from your wardrobe on display — your favorite robes or best handbags. here are just a few ideas for getting a bit of whimsy going on.
