when it comes to holiday decor i’m not a massive fan of the traditional red and green. it clashes with my neutrals, gosh darn it, so instead, i opt for more of a winter white vibe — lots of reflective objects like loads of white candle votives and ferry lights (spray paint ’em gold for an extra glow — i do this every season, and it’s completely safe and makes those unsightly cords fade into the background), bits of brass — like brass trays, incense burners and bar accessories, and any metallic objects d’ art i can get my hands on. so step aside, good old red and green, and instead say hello to shiny, reflective brass and metallics — and not just for holiday decor, but eclectic everyday design with a vintage modern twist that can make your space shine.
