this week’s color story is one with somewhat funky undertones and i may even hear the seventies calling — it’s all the many shades of blush pink, amber, and even some washed-out shades of coral. from the palest pinks to ruddy peachy tones — these shades together are just warm and beautiful. they’ve got a kind of subdued vibe about them and they just feel calming to me, like the extraordinary winter sunsets laguna is famous for this time of year. these colors flatter every room (and complexion!) and pair well with just about every other color under the rainbow, but especially each other. these shades have been popular for a while now, and i honestly just don’t’ see them going anywhere anytime soon — perhaps just transitioning from trendy desert vibes into much more eclectic, vintage-inspired decor. these pale hues are sticking around for a good while and you can go crazy with them, or just add the subtlest bits around your abode.
