this week’s color story was inspired by the always impressive work of one of my favorite interior photographers, salva lópez. his images are known to have this amazing natural light emanating from them, and they always remind me of early evening light — those soft golden hour hues of the sun slowly starting to set, paired with the pale glow of twilight, the gray-blue sky just beginning to show itself to bed. my goodness, so poetic I’ve become just thinking about it. pardonne-moi! i love these colors found in nature but often just as much when used inside our homes, too. subtle shades of blue, gold, and wood tones. sometimes these interiors lean on the rustic, vintage side and other times they are much more mid-century modern, but no matter the setting i always find them cozy, warm, and welcoming. let’s take a look, shall we?
