And that’s just what has materialised with Cris Barros’ flagship boutique, the latest collaboration between the brand and the architecture studio run by , developed over the course of a 15-year relationship. Here, natural materials, sinuous curves, sand tones, luminosity, and handmade pieces run amok in a world that speaks intimately of Cris Barros’ vision.
Located in Belo Horizonte, , the 400-square-metre boutique consists of four luminous rooms connected by portals punctuated with tropical plants. Visitors are invited to slow down and embark in a sensorial journey of silence as they move through the store.

Holiday mode is activated as an organic pool graces the entrance hall, setting the scene for the enveloping landscape within. High with large domes light the interior and accentuate the reflections on the of the clothing racks in brushed brass.
In the second room, large rustic display tables by create an earthy texture against the curved walls and backlit mirrors. A sinuous pouf positioned on an organic-shaped rug takes inspiration from the stones covered in lime or moss, establishing a dialogue with the wooden totems where sculptures by are displayed hosting the brand’s jewellery collection. Pebbles make up niches to display accessories and shoe collections.

Conceived as an enormous tent, the last room has a lower ceiling complemented with soft rugs, natural sand coloured linen curtains and a long couch. Suspended lamps designed by evoke clouds against the natural scenery, adding a warm and nurturing light into the space.
A generous hall with an enormous rustic wooden bench precedes the dressing rooms, ending the sensorial journey. Calm, minimalist and sophisticated, this interior is a culmination of the synergy and understanding felt between Cris Barros and Carolina Maluhy, developed over the course of their long-standing relationship.
