well, they’re not exactly daddy long legs, but the serge mouille lighting fixtures do kind of conjure up an elegant long-legged spider, if you will. they are also my personal very favorite lamp fixture. they come in many shapes and sizes from ceiling pendants to wall sconces to his the Three-Arm Floor Lamp, first created in 1953, and each and every one takes my breath away. french icon Serge Mouille made each of his lamps by hand and never used machine technology to maximize production numbers so one of his lamps are as much a work of art as it is a source of illumination. not inexpensive, but most certainly an investment in an iconic piece of lighting history. can’t swing the real thing? cb2 has a wall scone with a very similar vibe — meet the mantis.
