Yosuke Ando created a deck of Densho playing cards inspired by Japanese fables and folklore.

Yosuke Ando is a freelance graphic designer who lives and works in Tokyo, Japan. With inspiration from Japanese fables and folklore, he created a deck of Densho playing cards featuring unique characters and fantastic creatures from popular household stories from Japan.

The Tuckcases are crafted from premium-quality paper stock by GMUND, a renowned German manufacturer. They’re expertly hot foil stamped and letterpressed with ink. Meanwhile, the cards themselves are printed by The United States Playing Card Company.
