one of the best things about moving, is redecorating. and if you know me, it’s sometimes a lot of the reason i move at all — i’m just wired to constantly be changing things up! i love to find new ways to reinvent my style, or let it evolve and finding new resources for home accessories and furnishings is key. i was invited by jayson home to have a look at their latest catalog and choose a few items from their beautiful collections. one look and i was in, because not only does jayson home carry some unique and eclectic new pieces, they also have a vintage collection and you know how that grabs my attention! so today, i’m giving you a little sneak peek at some corners of my new laguna cottage and in it, the pretty new and vintage pieces i selected from jayson home, as well as a few favorites i think you’ll quite like.
i loved jayon home’s Vintage Chair collection and this bistro chair is perfect for my bedroom fan, stacking books, or extra seating when i need it; and i just flipped over this Vintage French Iron Shelf in my guest room. I’ve styled it with some books, candle and a few of my favorite vintage objet d’art. and just below their Vintage Chinese Basket is ideal for stacking my outdoor blankets for chilly nights on my veranda.
jayson home’s look is really unique to a lot of online brands in that their pieces have an unexpected and personal point of view — and by that i mean they just don’t look cookie-cutter out of a catalog (even though they may be!), but are decor pieces you can decorate around and build on to make your home uniquely you. i love the cool shapes of pieces like their LINEA CONSOLE and nico lamp (below), and the SENOFO CARVED STOOL, and great artwork, too — like this PLATO BLACK & WHITE painting. i also like that it’s got a vintage-modern, very mismatched vibe — my raison d’etre when it comes to decorating. so here’s a look at some of the jayson home pieces i took home, and a few i think you might like to bring home, too!
