The NSW Labor Government and Government Architect NSW (GANSW) launched the state’s Pattern Book of low-rise designs just last week. With its housing affordability crisis (not to mention the general obsession with property), it’s been big news across . As such, I asked four architects involved in providing designs for the Pattern Book to join me for a roundtable podcast discussion at in Surry Hills.
Conrad Johnston is director at ; Gabrielle Pelletier is associate director at ; Shaun Carter is principal architect and ; and Harry Catterns is partner at . Each practice has successfully designed one of the eight terrace, townhouse and manor house typologies that make up this phase of the NSW Pattern Book. The other practices involved are Sibling Architecture, Anthony Gill Architects, Officer Woods Architects, Other Architects and NMBW.
