a subtle change this week — i’ve decided that since we have so many ‘friday finds’ now, it might be wise to give them volume numbers should you need to track down a particular post. because, wow, we’ve only been here on substack a few months, and we’re already on volume 14. this week i’ve got some romantic, somewhat feminine finds for you and, as i mentioned above, some plush, pretty sofas to inspire you to lay down, take it easy this weekend — relax. have a great weekend, everyone. x, v.

i happen to be a big fan of mixing pale pink with deep blues, so when i saw this beautiful paint pairing on cassandra lavalle’s round-up of earthy pink paints, i was instantly smitten. the two colors together create such an interesting and pleasing contrast, and if i had rooms like this with sliding doors that open unto each other, i’d choose to make this dramatic and very stylish statement entrance, too. just stunning. cassandra has discovered some really great pink paints — have a look.
