even though it’s only february 1 as i write this, it feels like spring has sprung around here. we’ve had so much rain and now warm skies, that i think nature is confused and beginning its bloom a bit early. there are in full-on flowering mode in the neighborhood and i’m seeing those daffodil bulbs at trader joe’s that arrive every year like clockwork. i’m happy with all of it — i love all the rain, and am grateful for the sunshine afterward, especially after a long work week. we’re all about the green this week and bringing a bit of nature inside. have a lovely weekend, everyone. x, v.
gosh, i love . everything about it, from the old casement windows and the cozy green velvet upholstered cushion, and especially the floral hydrangea print on those throw pillows. feels very english garden, does it not? and an ideal spot to read up on your emily dickinson poetry or perhaps a bronte sisters novel. it does happen to reside in england’s cotswolds, and the entire home tour featured on is quite lovely — do have a look.
