a very happy memorial day weekend to all of you living stateside. and a heartfelt thank you to all our veterans and those men and women who lost their lives in service and dedication to our country, keeping our world safer. i also wanted to thank everyone who’s been recommending me here on substack, and to you for subscribing. i’ve loved writing this blog for the last 17 years, and moving to substack was a little scary, but your kind paid subscriptions are allowing me to keep at it thus far, so thanks so much! do have a lovely long weekend! xo, v.
