it seems like there are either people who despise dressing up for halloween and those who love it. i fall into the latter category. i used to go all out on my costumes! but besides my neighborhood’s annual halloween pancake breakfast, i don’t have a big costume party to attend this year. but i always enjoy thinking about what i’d dress as if i did. i love the simple idea of audrey hepburn from breakfast at tiffany’s — easy with just a cat mask and a red coat. one of the costumes i’ve always wanted to try is jana roach’s headless man (or, in my case, woman). it’s so inventive and clever, so if you need an idea, check out her tutorial. happy halloween weekend, and on to my finds — i think you’ll find them very ‘fall-ish’ and seasonally apropos. x, v.
