Henning Koppel trained as a sculptor and joined one of Europe’s leading silversmith firms Georg Jensen Sølvsmedie in 1945. His fluid, biomorphic designs for hollowware (vessel forms) bolstered the firm as a leader in Scandinavian modern design.
