Inspired by the philosophy “Inspire the Next – Innovation for Society,” CO-IDB developed the design concept “Time Flow” as a symbol of Hitachi’s enduring journey of innovation for people.

The image of the universe—an infinite space of light and motion—was chosen as the central metaphor, reflecting Hitachi’s spirit of continuous progress and human-centric innovation.

Design & Experience
The collaboration hub initiates the flow with a softly curved LED strip, symbolizing the spread of energy and connection between teams.

The Lab zone, inspired by a “spaceship floating in the universe,” is placed slightly apart to maintain its focus while still remaining part of the overall flow.

A palette of white, red, and black, complemented by gold and blue, represents the rhythm of time—from calm to brilliance, from past to future.

Curved lines, reflective materials, and an open ceiling express constant motion, diffusion, and regeneration throughout the workspace.

A cultural highlight is the Hue meeting room, conceived as a “pause within the flow”—a refined intersection of Vietnamese warmth and Japanese minimalism that embodies Hitachi’s values of respect and human connection.

The new Hitachi Digital Services office is more than a workplace; it stands as a symbol of connection and innovation, where technology and people move forward together in the endless flow of time.
