a much as i adore my home on L.A.’s eastside, i really, really miss living near the water. in san francisco, you’re virtually surrounded by it and it’s a bit of a hike (traffic-wise) to the beach from echo park. so lately, i’ve been seriously considering moving west — to to be exact. i’m not sure it can happen, but in the meantime, this week’s we imagine what look we might like living beachside. from funky, vintage-inspired goods to hammocks, palm fronds and surfboards, let’s fantasize about living in a little cottage on the venice canals, shall we? we shall, indeed! and, since today is america’s celebration of independence day, we’ll be off for the rest of the week, but see you back here on monday. happy 4th, one and all!
