hello dear readers, i hope you had a swell holiday. and in honor of summer holidays i thought it might be fun to share with you some of the best of the best places i’ve stayed in my many travels. one of my very favorite places to visit is , portugal, and honestly a place i’ve often considered living. it reminded me a lot of san francisco but even more bohemian, or perhaps a san francisco of the 60’s. our charming was a big part of why we fell in love with . it was such a beautiful space to wind down from a lot (and i mean an awful lot!) of running around the city and up and down its many staircases. but here’s to the slow life — this in located very centrally in lisbon’s Praça da Figueira with walking distance to loads of great restaurants, sites and shopping (read some of ). equipped with two large bedrooms, and another with two twin beds, a dining area and full kitchen, washer & dryer and AC which is always grand in summer months. i love locating and sharing a special place to stay with you, and since hopefully we’ll all be traveling more this summer, i’ll be sharing more soon. bon voyage!
