even though i have nothing but admiration for you urban jungle lovers, personally the only place i can maintain a lot of plant life seems to be outdoors — i love playing in my laguna garden! but indoors, i’m more of a one plant wonder kinda girl. i like just one or two (max) plants or trees in a room, and very often opt for a couple of large branches in a big vase over a planted pot. but i do agree that greenery really adds warmth and life to a room and i think one strategically placed plant or vase can really make a lovely impact on a room. try to imagine any of these spaces without any plant life at all and i think you’ll get my drift — kind of cold, right? i also like planting succulents which are a little easier to take care of for those of us without a green thumb. and, if you’re a hiker or urban wanderer like me, it’s even fun to forage for branches in the wild (i even keep a pair of these in my car!).
