Over the last couple of months, I’ve found myself completely smitten with retail design and the store (located in a dreamy brownstone on Bleecker Street in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village) sits firmly atop my list of favorite spaces. The feminine boutique, a true modern hideaway with a nod to art deco styles (that light fixture!!) and the ease of a well-collected residential interior, mimics the laid-back style of Ulla’s own unique home (which we shared in September ) and her gorgeous . The dream team of & designer, Alexis Brown Interiors, teamed up to create a storefront unlike many others complete with bohemian touches, a ton of travertine (I’m calling it — travertine is the new marble), and locally crafted decor elements. It’s definitely a spot you’ll want to check out the next time you find yourself in the city!
