this week’s instagram worthy account comes to us all the way from one of my favorite places — france. meet @ateliervime if you haven’t already discovered them. partners Benoît Rauzy and Anthony Watson live in an 18th-century hôtel particulier they’ve completely restored in the Provençal village of Vallabrègues on the left bank of the river Rhône near avignon — an area rich with the history of wickerworking. it’s there that the duo master the art of wicker making in their own studio, Atelier Vime. their wickerworks are divine — from unique lampshades to beautiful urn-like baskets and their shop in france also offer a selection of vintage articles, including furniture, made of wicker, rattan or cord — much like some of the pieces we bring back and carry at super marché. have a gander — and a lovely little step back in time.
