
has the very enviable job of traveling the globe and taking beautiful photographs. i follow her on her travels on (and you should too) and wanderlust always ensues. luckily for us she turns these travels into fabulous so we’re able to armchair travel along with her from our very own homes. i know, not quite the same as hopping a seaplane to a remote island with our own cameras, but perhaps the next best thing. recently shared with me her recent return trip to satellite island and i’m excited to now share a little behind the scenes with you. a small island, is part of the Partridge Island Group, lying close to the south-eastern coast of Tasmania and after spending three days and nights alone on the island, absorbing the wild nature of this remote place, Kara’s original iconic images of the boathouse were published worldwide and became the world’s most pinned boathouse. Now, five years later, she’s returned to the secluded to photograph its rugged beauty once again and from that visit, she’s created five from her time there.
