Designed and delivered by MoVe Architects, the new Leverage office transforms 500 square metres into a refined workplace that balances productivity with comfort. Completed within just six months—from concept development to handover—the project combined interior design and project management under one team, allowing design decisions and execution to progress in parallel.
Rather than relying on bold gestures, the design focuses on creating an environment that feels calm, timeless and highly functional. Neutral colours, warm natural materials and carefully selected textures establish a sophisticated backdrop that allows people to remain the centre of the space.
The workplace was developed around the idea that different tasks require different environments. Open workstations support everyday collaboration, while enclosed focus booths, executive offices, informal lounge areas and meeting spaces provide employees with the flexibility to choose the setting that best suits their work throughout the day.
A defining feature of the project is the careful balance between openness and privacy. Acoustic wall treatments, integrated planting and furniture layouts subtly divide the office into distinct neighbourhoods without interrupting visual continuity. The result is a workplace that feels spacious, organised and comfortable despite its relatively compact footprint.
Lighting played an equally important role in shaping the experience. Decorative fixtures complement the architectural lighting to create a warm atmosphere, while exposed building services were intentionally integrated into the overall design language rather than concealed. This honest expression of the building’s infrastructure adds character while maintaining a clean and elegant aesthetic.
Throughout the project, close coordination between the client, consultants, contractors and suppliers was essential. By providing both design and project management services, MoVe Architects maintained full control over quality, budget and programme, enabling rapid decision-making and a seamless delivery process.
The completed office reflects Leverage’s ambition to provide a contemporary workplace that supports focus, collaboration and employee wellbeing without compromising on design quality. Every space, from the executive offices to the social kitchen and collaborative areas, was designed with the same attention to detail, resulting in an environment that feels cohesive, welcoming and built to last.
At its core, the project demonstrates how thoughtful planning, strong coordination and restrained design can create a workplace that is both highly efficient and genuinely enjoyable to use every day.
