The design of the new offices for L’Oréal Israel opened the door to a rich world of content, values, and inspiration, one where aesthetics, innovation, sustainability and company culture converge to shape a dynamic workplace experience. The project reflects a meaningful shift in the organization’s work environment: moving away from a traditional room-based layout toward a continuous and fluid open-plan office that encourages collaboration, flexibility, and a more connected way of working.

The design concept draws inspiration directly from L’Oréal’s beauty products. The space translates the visual and tactile qualities of makeup into architecture. The shapes and soft, rounded edges are inspired by makeup palettes, while the palette of skin tones and cosmetic textures informs the materials and finishes. Curved elements reflect the movement of hair and lashes, and transparent surfaces reference the lightness of perfume bottles. Together, these ideas create a cohesive space that subtly expresses the brand’s identity.

At the heart of the workplace lies a generous central hub: a spacious cafeteria connected to a lush open terrace. Designed with the atmosphere of a brasserie and café, this area functions as far more than a social gathering point. It serves as the organizing axis of the entire floor, naturally and intuitively dividing the company’s departments while creating a vibrant daily meeting point for employees.
Color and branding play a central role in shaping the identity of the space. Each work zone is defined by a distinct hue, subtly echoed in the adjacent meeting rooms through carefully selected finishes and materials. Branding choices were carefully tailored for each department and area.

Sustainability, a key element for the company, was approached as an integral design principle rather than an add-on. The project incorporates high-quality and recycled materials, maximizes access to natural light, and integrates thoughtful ventilation and recycling strategies. Abundant greenery is woven throughout the workspace, softening its boundaries and introducing a living layer to the interior.

Together, these elements create a workplace that feels both contemporary and enduring—an environment designed not only to support productivity, but also to foster presence, well-being, and inspiration.
